MY STORY

A Passionate Educator

I’ve taught at SV for many decades and love Baldwin Park & SV. I attended Occidental College for my undergrad and my first Master’s in History. Later, I attended Cal State, Dominguez Hills for my Master’s in Education Counseling. I’ve been married for decades (too) and have two daughters. 
I love to travel, and baseball (the Doyers).
Although, I was born in East Los Angeles, grew up in  South Central Los Angeles, I’ve lived in Mexico, Spain, and Washington D.C..But Los Angeles will always be my home, as I commute to BP from Los Angeles to teach daily.
I use a variety of teaching methods in my class to make sure that everybody feels welcome, engaged and excited to learn. On top of that, I do my best to provide students with any help and support they need to get the best results. In my class, you will never be alone.
